Voila. Carefully pulling back the fresh print. This is what I live for.

What is a Vinyl Cut?

A vinyl cut is a relief print. Just like a wood cut is cut from wood, the print image is carved in reverse onto a soft block of vinyl. Once the image is finished, the printmaker inks up the block with oil-based relief printing ink, places the printmaking paper on top of the inked block and rubs the back of the paper carefully with a tool called a baren.
